2021 Health Gift List

Every year, I post my top 10 list of useful “health” gift ideas, in no specific order. This list might be an excuse to give yourself something for all the hard work you’ve done this year. Or, of course, to treat someone you love.

I am not a huge lover of gadgets, by the way; I focus on the essential tools that will make my life easier.

1. Vitamix

I had this appliance for nearly 10 years and its still going strong. I know it’s not cheap but it is – when you acknowledge how long it lasts, and how good it is.

Consider this: By having this machine, you can make endless amounts of raw vegan ice cream all year round; how much money will you save by not having to buy junk food instead?

2. Moulinex Vitapress Direct Service 100W

This is the Vitamix of electric citrus squeezers. It’s an excellent machine at a great price. I’ve had mine for over 10 years and it’s still going strong. Make sure you get the 100 watts version. This kit will be your best friend during winters! 🙂

3. Waterpik WP-560UK Cordless Advanced Water Flosser

My dentist says that everyone should own one of these kits and I agree. I had been using an electric flosser for nearly 12 years and it has made such a difference.

It helps my mouth it stays clean and it is especially handy when you eat lot of fruit.

The only downside of these machines is that the batteries don’t last long, and you have to replace the device ever 2 years or so. I don’t know why this happens but apparently, it’s the same with every brand.

4. OXO Good Grips Mango Splitter

I like OXO products. I found them reliable and long lasting. I know there a few other ways of slicing and eating mangoes, but I definitely prefer this method.

5. Pineapple Corer

This corer is easy to use, durable, and lightweight!

6. Pengxiaomei Stainless Steel Corer

I use this corer a lot, not only for apples, but pears too, etc. It’s easy to use and easy to clean, and sturdy.

7. James Martin 3 Piece Santoku Knife Set

I don’t remember where or when someone told me I should get a Japanese knife set but I did, and they work a treat. I had this set of for over 10 years and they still feel brand new.

8. Doc’s Pro Ear Plugs

I suffered from awful ear infections in the past, but since I changed my diet to raw foods, they have completely vanished.

I also got in the habit of wearing ear plugs when I shower. It helps keep my ear canals clean and avoid complications, especially since I often take more than one shower a day.

I use surfing ear plugs; they are effective, cheap, and last a long time.

9. Book Stand Holder & Reading Rest

This book stand is super handy and ergonomic, whether I use it to read books or with a computer/tablet.

10. Inner Engineering: A Yogi’s Guide to Joy

I like Sadhguru’s teachings. He turns things upside down. Wise man.
